Hartland, WI : Highway 16 reopened after car crash into trees on Wednesday morning July 9th 2014

Police in Hartland have opened all lanes of traffic on Highway 16 after a single-vehicle crash.

Matt Salemme in NewsChopper 12 said it appeared a car left the roadway, traveled through a grove of trees, then nearly re-entered the highway eastbound just east of Highway 83.

The right lane of traffic was closed for a time while crews removed debris from the scene.

The vehicle is now on the shoulder and is in the process of being towed from the scene.
