Box Elder, SD : Carter Woolover, 15, struck and killed by two vehicles on Interstate 90 on Friday night, Oct 30, 2015
A Box Elder boy was killed Friday night after he was struck by two vehicles on Interstate 90 near Box Elder.
Carter Woolover, 15, died as a result of injuries he suffered after he was hit by the vehicles, according to a news release from South Dakota Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at 9:33 p.m. on I-90 at mile marker 64. Woolover ran out of the northbound ditch and headed south across the interstate. He was struck first by a 2007 Nissan Altima driven by Randi Lends His Horse, 21, of Rapid City and then by a 2012 Chevrolet Camaro driven by Terre Camille, 24, of Box Elder, the release said.
Camille was not injured. The release did not say whether Lends His Horse was injured in the wreck. Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the release said.
