A man is in critical condition after blacking out and crashing the car he was driving at 30th and Main Streets in Louisville, according to Louisville Metro Police.
At 2:30 p.m., MetroSafe received a report of a car in the yard, wedged against the house at 2900 W. Main Street. Police say a preliminary investigation indicates the driver lost consciousness in the area of 27th and Main and began hitting parked car, which he continued to do until coming to a stop a few blocks later.
The driver was unconscious when he was taken to University of Louisville Hospital in critical condition. A female passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Several cars were damaged. No one else was hurt.
