WILLIAMSON, NY : State trooper taken to hospital after crash in Williamson on Wednesday, 21st June 2023

A 15-year-old is accused of riding a stolen car that led New York State Police on a chase in Williamson that ended in a crash on Wednesday night.

The trooper collided with a car that wasn’t involved in the chase on Tuckahoe Road near State Route 104. The trooper and the other driver were injured and taken to Strong Hospital. Both are expected to be ok.

State Police say the chase started around 11:45 p.m. on Tuckahoe Road and troopers caught the stolen car on Ridge Road after the crash.
