Kerman man killed in Highway 180 crash is identified Near Fresno California
The 34-year-old man who was killed early Sunday after his motorcycle collided with a vehicle on Highway 180 east of Kerman has been identified as Ernie Escobedo, the Fresno County Coroner's Office said Sunday evening.Escobedo, of Kerman, was driving west on Highway 180, just past Bishop Avenue, when he drove onto the north shoulder of the highway and crashed into the back of a parked vehicle around 2:25 a.m., the California Highway Patrol said.The vehicle was occupied by a 30-year-old Mendota man and a passenger who did not suffer any injuries. Escobedo was thrown to the asphalt roadway. He was died at the scene.The victim may have been intoxicated at the time of the crash, the CHP said.
