KANSAS CITY, MO : Damage from wreck could close I-70 in KCK over weekend on Friday, 29th January 2021

Officials with the Kansas Department of Transportation said a portion of the Lewis and Clark Viaduct along Interstate 70 in Kansas City, Kansas, could be closed through weekend following a crash Friday.

A semi tractor-trailer hauling scrap cars lost control when the driver misjudged the curve near Third Street and rolled over, damaging the concrete barrier along the bridge. The incident happened around 1 p.m.
