Greeneville, TN : Nine people injured a wreck on Interstate 81 in Greene County on Wednesday morning, May 25, 2016

Tennessee Highway Patrol is currently investigating a wreck that sent nine people to the hospital Wednesday morning in Greene County.

Officers say 65 year-old, Larry Bailey was driving north on I-81 northbound when he became drowsy and lost control of the Ford conversion van he was driving.

The vehicle went through the median, went airborne over a fence and then down an embankment. The van then rolled over and came to a rest on Kinneytown Road.

All passengers, including the driver were taken to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
