Cullman, AL : Separate wrecks injure 5 on Thursday, 3rd November 2016
Five local residents went to the hospital with injuries after two unrelated, single-vehicle wrecks Thursday.
Alabama State Troopers said the first occurred at 2:36 p.m. on County Road 1435, one mile north of Cullman, and injured driver Carol Conner, 76, of Vinemont. Her passenger, James Conner, 53, of Eva, was also hurt.
Troopers said Carol Conner was not wearing a seatbelt, but James Conner was.
Shortly before 5:30 p.m., a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old male overturned on County Road 831, injuring him and his two 8-year-old passengers. Troopers declined to name the occupants, citing their ages. The wreck happened about eight miles west of Cullman, and all three were wearing seatbelts.
