WALCOTT, IA : 2 dead in crash along I-80 west of Walcott on Saturday, 13th April 2024

Two people are dead after a single-car crash on I-80 westbound near Walcott on Saturday afternoon.

The Iowa State Patrol released a preliminary report saying that the accident occurred on Saturday, April 14 at 12:26 p.m. near Mile Marker 281, which is three miles west of the Walcott exit.

A 1999 Lexus LX-470 was westbound on I-80 when it lost control for an unknown reason. The car rolled multiple times into the north ditch, coming to rest on its top.
