North Providence, R.I : One person was killed and two were injured early Thursday morning in a single-car crash in North Providence on June 19, 2014

North Providence say the rear passenger was killed in an overnight crash on Mineral Spring Avenue in North Providence. The driver and front passenger are in serious condition at Rhode Island Hospital, police say. The victim is being identified as Dominic Guziejka. It happened early Thursday morning in the 1200 block of Mineral Spring Avenue. The car was traveling east on Mineral Spring Avenue when it struck a pole. The Medical Examiner was called to the scene.

A stretch of the area was shut down as police investigated. Rhode Island State Police were also on scene assisting in the investigation.

Police are exploring all options.
