Odessa, TX : Victim in fatal rollover wreck identified on Friday, June 23, 2017

A 20-year-old Odessa man driving a Chevrolet Silverado pickup veered off northbound Knox Avenue and struck a curb, causing his truck to flip over, throw him out and land on top of him Friday.
Jose I. Hinostroza was pronounced dead at the scene of the fatal crash that was reported at 9:46 p.m. and occurred near West 16th Street and Knox Avenue, six miles west of Odessa. Hinostroza was not wearing a seat belt, the Texas Department of Public Safety reported.
Odessa Fire/Rescue reported that Hinostroza was found pinned underneath the truck when he was ejected. Hinostroza was the only occupant of the full-size pickup, the DPS reported.
