Colchester, VT : 66-year-old woman killed in two-car collision in Colchester on Saturday, January 10, 2015

Police say a 66-year-old woman has been killed in a two car-collision in Colchester.

Several others were injured in the accident shortly after 7 p.m. on U.S. Route 7, but police were still at the scene and did not plan to release further information until later Saturday night.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.

Police Chief Jennifer Morrison told the Burlington Free Press that none of the survivors sustained life-threatening injuries in crash, which was just north of Elm Hill Farm.

None of the victims has been identified.
