Spartanburg, SC : Woman arrested, charged with DUI after crash on I-26 in Spartanburg County early Friday morning, March 6, 2015

The South Carolina Highway Patrol said a woman was arrested after a wreck that backed up traffic on I-26 overnight.

Troopers said the accident happened just after midnight between the 19 and 21 mile marker.

Cpl. Bill Rhyne said Samantha Bishop, 32, was driving on I-26 when she crossed the cable barrier and struck another vehicle in the oncoming lane.

Rhyne said Bishop was arrested and charged with DUI and driving under suspension.

A vehicle fire was reported following the collision, but all drivers involved in the crash suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
