A 22-year-old woman is dead after a head-on crash in Flagler County.

It happened around 4 p.m. Friday on South Old Dixie Highway and Carmelite Drive.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers said a 2001 Ford pickup was traveling east on South Old Dixie Highway when it collided head-on with a Jeep.

The pickup then rolled onto its left side, while the Jeep came to rest in a water-filled ditch.

The truck’s two occupants were transported to Florida Hospital Flagler with serious injuries.

Troopers said the Jeep’s driver, Faith Christian Foust, of Bunnell, was pronounced dead at the scene. One of the SUV’s two juvenile passengers was taken to Florida Hospital Flagler and released. The other was taken to Halifax Health Medical Center in critical conditions and then transferred to a critical care facility in Orlando.
