Harvey County, KS : Motorcyclist taken to hospital after collision between a car and a motorcycle on I-135 and U.S. 50 interchange in Harvey County on Monday, August 11, 2014

Lonnie J. Senn, 47, Halstead, was taken to Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, following a collision between a car and a motorcycle at 3:52 p.m. Monday, at the I-135 and U.S. 50 interchange in Harvey County. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2014 Chevrolet Malibu driven by James Stevens Jr., 57, Andover, was southbound on I-135 in the inside lane and the 2009 Yamaha motorcycle driven by Senn was southbound in the outside lane. Stevens' car veered into the outside lane, striking the motorcycle, which slid into the guardrail. Stevens, wearing a seatbelt, was not injured. Senn was wearing a helmet and safety glasses.
