Granville, NY : Man seriously injured in a crash on Quaker Street on Wednesday, October 5, 2016

A man was taken to Albany Medical Center after a collision between a vehicle and wheelchair or motorized scooter on Quaker Street on Wednesday.

The accident happened near Cumberland Farms shortly after 3 p.m. Granville Rescue Squad transported one person to the South Queensbury fire station in Queensbury to meet a Lifenet helicopter that took the victim to Albany.

Granville Police were still on the scene as of late afternoon and no details were available as to what happened. More details will be posted when they become available.
