An early morning crash Sunday involving an alleged wrong-way driver on Interstate 490 left one man dead.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office:
Deputies responded shortly after 2 a.m. to Interstate 490 near Route 31 in Perinton for a crash in which one of the people involved was reportedly unresponsive and not breathing. Members of the Bushnell's Basin Fire Department and Perinton Volunteer Ambulance attempted CPR, but the man — who was not immediately identified — died at the scene.
