CAIRO, GA : Woman dies in Grady crash on Saturday, February 17th 2017
A 68-year-old Pelham woman died, and two people were injured Saturday morning when two vehicles collided head-on in north Grady County.
Cheryl Moore Bulloch was traveling north, driving a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee when the Jeep crossed the center line and collided with a southbound 2006 Dodge pickup truck driven by Barbara Keen, 68, Ochlocknee, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
"They both hit head-on," said Sgt. Jeff Culpepper, Thomasville Post 12 Georgia State Patrol trooper.
Bulloch died at the crash scene, the trooper said.
The crash occurred about 11 a.m. on Ga. 111 North near Richter Road.
Bulloch was airlifted to Tallahassee Regional Memorial Hospital. Kaleigh Keen, 9, Ochlocknee, a passenger in the Dodge pickup, was taken by ambulance to the Tallahassee hospital.
"I do not believe speed was a factor," Culpepper said.
Drivers and the pickup passenger were wearing seatbelts. No one was ejected in the crash.
