Tulsa, OK : Henryetta man killed in pickup truck crash in Okmulgee County on Wednesday morning, February 8, 2017
A Henryetta man was killed Wednesday morning when the pickup he was driving crashed in Okmulgee County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The man was identified as Mackey Lambert, 51.
He was driving about 7:30 p.m. on Creek Mine Road, just west of Oklahoma 124 and two miles south of Henryetta, when the 2004 Chevrolet truck went off the road on a curve and hit two trees, troopers reported.
Lambert was pinned in the truck until Henryetta Fire Department firefighters pulled him out. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Lambert was not wearing a seat belt, troopers said.
The cause of the collision and Lambert’s condition at the time are under investigation, troopers said.
