Jacksonville, FL : Woman with critical injuries after single car crash on Interstate 95 near I-295 on Sunday, June 5, 2016

Florida Highway Patrol says a 42-year-old woman from Orlando has critical injuries after a single car crash on Interstate 95 in Jacksonville.

FHP says the crash happened around 1:30 p.m. Sunday on I-95 Northbound near I-295. Authorities say the woman over corrected after traveling onto the shoulder. She then re-entered the road way where she performed a second over steering action. From there she lost controlled and entered a grass median.

The woman was taken to UF Health in Jacksonville with critical injuries.
