Fargo, ND : Two people injured after ambulance-SUV crash crash in downtown Fargo on Wednesday night, March 18, 2015

Two people were taken to the hospital after an ambulance-involved crash Wednesday night in downtown Fargo.

It happened around 7:15 at 2nd street and 1st Avenue North.

An Essentia Health ambulance had a patient in it, and was heading north when a westbound SUV hit it.

The driver of the SUV was hurt and taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Craig Nelson- Fargo Fire Department Battalion Chief: “There was one person inside the ambulance that was being transported. That person was taken and put into another ambulance.”

No word on if the patient was hurt in the crash.
