Lorain, OH : Four injured in Huron County crash on Wednesday, 28th March 2018
The Norwalk Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle crash March 27 in Townsend Township.
According to a news release:
At 12:54 p.m. a 49-year-old Dublin man operating an Acura TLX was travelling north on Greenwich Milan Town Line Road when he allegedly failed to yield for a stop sign and was hit in the intersection by a Ford F-150 travelling west on State Route 18.
The Ford, driven by a 28-year-old male, stopped on the right side of the road and the Acura was forced off the right side of the road where it hit a fence.
The driver of the Acura and a male passenger were transported to Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk. Two additional passengers, a 40-year-old woman and a 9-year old male, were flown from Fisher-Titus to Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland.
The driver of the Ford was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation; alcohol and drugs are not suspected as factors.
The Highway Patrol was assisted on scene by the Huron County Sheriff’s Office, Norwalk Fire Department, North Central EMS and Citizens EMS.
