Prosser, WA : Yakima woman injured in rollover crash in Prosser on Friday afternoon, August 5, 2016

A Yakima woman was injured when she rolled a car into the median of Interstate 82 at the west Prosser exit Friday afternoon, the Washington State Patrol reported.

Katherine Yelechchin, 22, was taken to PMH Medical Center in Prosser. A nursing supervisor said Friday evening that she was not listed as a patient.

Troopers said Yelechchin eastbound about 4:30 p.m. when the Chevrolet Malibu entered the median and rolled.

She was expected to receive a ticket for driving off the road.

Intoxicants did not contribute to the crash, and Yelechchin was wearing a seat belt, authorities said.
