Helenwood, TN : Kentucky woman killed in Helenwood car crash on US Highway 27 in Helenwood on Thursday, September 18, 2014

Charges are pending against a driver whose car crossed the center line and caused a wreck, killing a Kentucky woman. It happened on US Highway 27 in Helenwood on Thursday. Kentucky State Police say Welby Hutchison, 24, of Burnside, Kentucky, crossed into oncoming traffic and hit another car. The driver of the struck vehicle, Tewanna Myers, 22, of Helenwood, was injured in the crash. Ann Phelps, 71, of Burnside, Kentucky died this weekend from her injuries at UT Medical Center.
