A Mitchell teenager sustained minor injuries after a two-vehicle crash early Thursday morning.
At approximately 12:01 a.m., two vehicles collided at the intersection of Havens Avenue and Ohlman Street, according to Mitchell Patrol Sgt. Joel Reinesch.
Nathan Stewart, 16, of Mitchell was driving northbound on South Ohlman Street when he collided with Josie Serbousek, 19, also of Mitchell.
Stewart, who was driving a 2004 Dodge Durango, T-boned Serbousek after she failed to completely stop at the intersection, Reinesch said.
Serbousek was driving a 2016 Ford Fiesta, with an estimated damages at $12,000. Stewart's Durango has estimated damages of $7,000. Reinesch said both vehicles look like a total loss.
Serbousek had a passenger in her car, but a name was not available. Everyone involved in the accident was wearing seat belts.
Reinesch said airbags were deployed and the two occupants of the Ford Fiesta were transported to the hospital for minor injuries. No other updates were available.
Serbousek was cited for failing to yield after a stop sign.
