Walker, LA : New Year's Eve crash leaves 3 dead in Livingston Parish on Wednesday, December 31, 2014

Louisiana State Police say three people have died in a New Year's Eve accident in Livingston Parish.

State Police spokesman Trooper First Class Jared L. Sandifer says the two-vehicle accident occurred about 8:15 p.m. Wednesday on Louisiana Highway 447 south of Interstate 12.

Sandifer identified the victims as 24-year-old Trinity R. Kiger of Satsuma, the driver of one of the vehicles; and 37-year-old Shannon Chisholm and her 11-year-old daughter, Hannah, who were passengers in the second vehicle driven by her husband, 38-year-old Ronald Chisholm of Denham Springs.

Chisholm and another daughter were taken to Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge. Their conditions were not known.
