Caneadea, NY : Pennsylvania man killed in Allegany County crash on Wednesday night, May 18, 2016
A Pennsylvania man died when the vehicle he was riding in drifted off Route 19 and hit a tree Wednesday night in Allegany County, State Police said.
State Police said Brandi L. Sullivan, 19, of Belfast was driving south when the vehicle drifted off the shoulder, struck a guardrail, turned on its side and hit a tree at about 8:45 p.m.
Anthony R. Logue, 39, of Shinglehouse, Pa., who was in the backseat of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sullivan and two other passengers, Blake D. Cooper and Tyson C. Logue, also 19 and from Belfast, were treated for minor injuries and released at Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville, State Police said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
The Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office is scheduled to perform an autopsy on Anthony Logue, State Police said.
