Phoenix, AZ : Bicyclist killed in south Phoenix crash near 17th Ave & Pecos on Wednesday, November 12, 2014

A bicyclist is killed while riding in south Phoenix. SkyFox was over the scene near 17th Ave & Pecos. The car that hit the cyclist was heavily damaged. Police closed the westbound lanes of Pecos Road while they investigated. Pecos Road near the accident scene is a popular location for cyclists. There is a paved bike lane that crosses near a right turn lane. That is where the cyclist was hit. Authorities have not released the names of the driver or bicyclist.
