Gary, IN : Man injured after single-car rollover crash on I-80/94 near Broadway on Thursday, July 30, 2015

A man suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a single-car rollover Thursday on eastbound Interstate 80/94 near Broadway, police said.

The man was taken to Methodist Hospitals Northlake Campus in Gary after the crash about 5:30 p.m., Indiana State Police said.

Traffic backed up for several miles before the crash was cleared about 6:35 p.m.

The man was cited for speed too fast to avoid collision, police said.

Hammond police, Gary Fire/EMS and Hoosier Helper assisted.
