Las Vegas, NV : 25-year-old man struck and killed by SUV near Jonathan Drive on Thursday morning, Nov 19, 2015

A 25-year-old man crossing Las Vegas Boulevard was hit by an SUV and killed this morning, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

The man, whose name was not released, was hit by a black Cadillac Escalade about 4:30 a.m. as he crossed the street near Jonathan Drive, just north of St. Rose Parkway, officials said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Las Vegas Boulevard was closed for more than three hours and reopened at 8 a.m., officials said.
