Livermore ,CA : 36- Years Old women was Killed after Multi Vehicle crash along Interstate 580 on Wednesday , December 10th 2014

A woman killed in a multivehicle crash on Interstate 580 last week has been identified as Erica Halter, 36, of Dublin, according to the Alameda County Coroner's Office. Halter died after a 2012 Ford 150 pickup rear-ended a 2003 Jeep Cherokee at 3:07 p.m. Dec. 10, just east of Vasco Road, California Highway Patrol Officer Steve Creel said. During the crash, the Jeep flipped and caught fire, and Halter was ejected from the SUV. Paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup, a 45-year-old Modesto man, was not cited. A 47-year-old Modesto man in a Honda Civic and a 35-year-old Lathrop woman who drove another pickup also suffered minor injuries in the wreck, Creel said. The cause of the crash, which shut down all lanes of eastbound I-580 for several hours, remained under investigation Tuesday. source : Woman killed in multivehicle crash in Livermore identified
