Lake City, FL : 54-year-old Sylvia Ritchey Larramore was injured in a crash at Interstate 10 on Sunday, 9th October, 2016

A woman was airlifted Sunday afternoon to Shands Hospital in Gainesville after the car she was riding in flipped on Interstate 10 in Columbia County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Sylvia Ritchey Larramore, 54 of Jacksonville, suffered serious injuries in the crash.

The driver, 52-year-old Gary Lee Larramore, was not injured.

According to the FHP report, Gary Larramore was driving his Chevrolet truck east on I-10 just before 2 p.m. Sunday when an unknown vehicle traveling in the next lane cut in front of the truck, forcing Larramore to slam on his

brakes and pull the wheel to avoid a crash.

The truck slid onto the south shoulder and flipped.

The other vehicle left the scene, troopers said.
