COLEBROOK, NH : 1 killed in northern NH crash on Monday, 5th September 2016

One person was killed in a car crash in northern New Hampshire.

The head-on collision between a car and a pickup happened Monday morning on Route 3 in Colebrook about a half-mile north of the state rest area.

Police say the car, driven by Samantha Smith, 39, of West Stewartstown, crossed the centerline and collided with the pickup truck. Smith died at the scene. A child in her car and the two people in the truck were injured and taken to the hospital.
