HERMITAGE, PA : No injuries reported in Hermitage school bus accident on Thursday, August 24, 2017

Two Hermitage school buses transporting students home after school were involved in a minor traffic accident Thursday afternoon.

Hermitage Police Cpl. Dan Young said both buses were making left-hand turns at U.S. 18 and East State Street when the accident happened.

Hermitage Superintendent Dan Bell, said the buses, transporting high school student,s were approaching the intersection at East State Street when a vehicle made a right turn in front of the first bus. In an attempt to avoid a collision, the first bus braked causing the second bus to hit its back bumper.

There were no injuries and only minor damage reported, Young said.
