URSA, IL : Teen faces charges in property damage crash on Monday, 23rd July 2018

A Quincy teen faces charges after an early Monday morning crash in Ursa that damaged a utility pole.

The Adams County Sheriff's Department reported a 2002 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Audrianna Deeter-Simpson, 18, of Quincy, struck a utility pole on North Warsaw Street, south of Ill. 61, in Ursa at 12:33 a.m.

Deeter-Simpson was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and illegal possession/consumption of alcohol by a minor, then posted bond.

Ameren crews were on scene to replace the utility pole, the department said.
