A motorcycle driver was seriously injured in a wrong-way hit and run crash night.
According to a press release from the Florida Highway Patrol, 67-year-old John Parish was riding his motorcycle in the northbound lanes of State Road 285 near Green Acres Drive when he was struck by a silver sedan traveling southbound in the northbound lanes.
The driver of the sedan, John Bartlett, 52, was uninjured in the crash. Parish, however, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.
The FHP report said alcohol wasn’t a factor in the crash.
