KNOXVILLE, TN : 1 dead after overnight crash on I-40 East, KPD investigating on Monday, 20th May 2024

The Knoxville Police Department said it's investigating a fatal crash that happened on I-40.

The crash happened around 1:55 a.m. on Monday at the Western Avenue underpass on I-40 East, according to KPD. Officers responded to the scene where they found a black Chevy Tahoe had crashed into the bridge.
