A deadly wrong way crash in Plainville has claimed the life of one person.
According to authorities, the driver of the struck car was a 21-year-old Barnstable woman who is in serious condition at Rhode Island Hospital.
The driver who was killed in the 495 South wrong way crash was a young adult male from Norton.
Police say that wrong way vehicle crashed into an oncoming car around 2 a.m. Thursday morning on the south bound side between Route 1 and Route 95.
The driver of the wrong way vehicle was killed at the scene and the driver of the second car was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital.
