LEICESTER, MA : Bike vs. car crash in Leicester in the area of 119 South Main St. (Route 9) on Thursday, 15th October, 2020

A bicyclist was hospitalized after a collision with a car Thursday afternoon.

The crash, which occurred about 5:15 p.m. in the area of 119 South Main St. (Route 9), caused extensive backups as Leicester and state police investigated.

Police said Friday morning that the adult bicyclist, identified as Marco Jimenez of Leicester, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. He was wearing a safety helmet, police said.
