Monessen, PA : Pedestrian killed in Derry Township accident on Sunday, 2nd October 2016

A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Sunday night in Derry Township, according to a Westmoreland County emergency dispatch supervisor.

The crash happened about 7:20 p.m. on Route 22 near Route 981.

State police are investigating.

No other details were immediately available.
