Sacramento, CA : Three people were injured when three vehicles collided on May, Saturday, 13th 2017

At least three people were injured when three vehicles collided on Interstate 805 near Serra Mesa Saturday, authorities said.

The collisions occurred in southbound lanes north of Murray Ridge Road about 8:30 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol website.

A red pickup ended up in the center divider, and a van and a car stopped near the right shoulder, other drivers told the CHP. Witnesses also reported that a man was lying on the ground on the shoulder.

Medics took two women and a man to a hospital. Injuries for the man and one woman were first thought to be serious, but the CHP later said they were minor.. Two children were evaluated by medics.
