Bowling Green , VA : 45 - Years old man was killed while he brushed against a power line after vehicle Struck utility pole on Friday morning , December 26th 2014

A 45-year-old Caroline County man has died when he brushed against a power line that fell after his vehicle struck a utility pole.

The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports (http://bit.ly/1xXJyn2 ) that Rodney F. Coleman of Milford, died at the scene of the incident at about 3 a.m. Friday.

Coleman ran off the left side of the road in a 1994 Mercury Cougar and struck a utility pole. When Coleman stopped and got out of his vehicle, his left shoulder came in contact with a downed power line, causing his death.

Police say no other vehicles were involved.
