Sellersburg , IN : 64-year-old Dennis killed in Single vehicle Crash near the 10-mile marker on Tuesday Morning , February 17th 2015
One man was killed in a single-car accident that happened on Tuesday morning, according to Indiana State Police.
Officials have identified the man as 64-year-old Dennis M. Davis of Clarksville.
The accident happened on I-65 North, near the 10-mile marker, north of Sellersburg, Indiana.
Indiana State Police troopers were called to the scene just before 8 a.m. When troopers arrived, they found a white 2004 GMC pick-up truck about 12 feet from the roadway.
Officials say the vehicle ran off the road and struck a tree. Davis was pronounced dead at the scene by the Clark County Coroner.
Police say Davis was the only person in the vehicle and that he was not wearing a seatbelt.
Investigators say the accident is believed to be weather-related, however an official cause for the crash has not been given.
The right lane of the interstate was closed for about an hour, while crews worked at the scene.
