The Wilmington Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run crash that critically injured three women early Saturday morning.

Pamela Dupree said it's through the grace of God that her daughter Jasmin is still alive.

"She has been through horrific trauma. She is really badly scarred," said Dupree.

The 35-year-old underwent emergency surgery Saturday after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on the 1600 block of Delaware Avenue in Wilmington's Trolley Square neighborhood.

Trolley Square, filled with restaurants, bars and shops, is a popular spot that gets crowded, especially on weekends.
