Toms River crash closes Whitesville Road

Police are responding to a motor vehicle crash about 9 a.m. Thursday at Whitesville and Sunset roads near the Ocean County Health Department.

Northbound Whitesville Road was closed briefly for first responders but has been reopened, said Ralph Stocco, spokesman for the Toms River Police.

The investigation is continuing and more information will be available. There does not appear to be life threatening injuries related to the crash, Stocco said.
