READSBORO, VT : Children suffer minor injuries in ATV crash on Sunday, 29th July 2018

Two children suffered minor injuries Sunday after their ATV crashed into a tree on Ross Road, Vermont State Police said.Kyle Ruiz, 15, of Shirley, Mass., was heading North on Ross Road at about 1:30 p.m. when he lost control of the Polaris ATV, crashing head-on into a tree, police said. The ATV rolled over, coming to rest on its passenger side.

Twelve-year-old Nathan Ruiz, also of Shirley, was a passenger.

Both were treated for minor injuries.

The unregistered, uninsured ATV was totaled, police said.
