TIMEWELL, IL : Dunlap woman injured in crash near Timewell on Friday, November, 17th 2017

A Dunlap woman was taken to Blessing Hospital in Quincy in fair condition after a crash Friday morning near Timewell.

The Illinois State Police reported a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Andrea Draksler, 45, was heading west on U.S. 24, just west of Brown County Road 350 East, when it crossed into the eastbound lane and sideswiped a 2000 Freightliner semitrailer driven by Michael D. Chasteen, 58, of Creve Coeur, Mo.

Draksler was ticketed for improper lane usage.

Assisting at the scene were the Brown County Sheriff's Department, the Mount Sterling Fire Department and the Brown County Ambulance Service.
