Alachua County, FL : Brooker man killed in a traffic crash on early Thursday morning September 24 2015.

A Brooker man was killed in a traffic accident early Thursday morning in Alachua County after he was ejected from the vehicle after losing control of it, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Terrell Dewayne Jenkins, 49, was driving east on State Road 235 to the east of LaCrosse at around 2:25 a.m. when the accident happened, a FHP news release said. Jenkins wasn’t able to negotiate a curve in the road and ended up traveling off the street and onto the right shoulder, at which point he lost control of the Ford Excursion he was driving.
The Ford began to overturn, and Jenkins was thrown from the vehicle, coming to rest on the south shoulder of the road, the news release said. His injuries were fatal.
The car also came to a rest facing northwest on the south shoulder of the street.
