Glenburn, ME : Two teens dead in one-car crash on Route 15, just across the line from Bangor on Sunday morning, July 17, 2016

Maine authorities say two teenagers were pronounced dead at the scene of a one-car crash in Glenburn Sunday morning.

The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office says the Toyota Corolla they were in hit several trees and the impact sheered their car in half.

Officials tell that the accident happened at about 6 a.m. on Route 15, just across the line from Bangor.

The teens' names have not been released pending notification of family members.

Investigators say they are still working to determine the cause of the crash.
