Gettysburg, PA : A two-vehicle crash near Liberty Mountain Resort on Sunday, 1st July 2018

A two-vehicle crash Sunday near Liberty Mountain Resort around 1:45 p.m. sent five people to area hospitals, according to Carroll Valley Borough Police Cpl. Cliff Weikert.Two people were flown by helicopters, while the others who sustained suspected "minor injuries" were taken by ambulances, according to Lt. Brad Hartdagen of Fairfield Fire & EMS.

Hartdagen was unsure on the extent of injuries of the two patients who were sent by helicopters.

Weikert declined to release the names of the patients as the crash remains under investigation.
